Mount Washington Before & After Care Program

A new registration is required each school year.

Please follow the steps below:

  1. Complete the electronic Registration Form

  2. Pay $20 Registration Fee

  3. Submit Required Documentation

We will notify parents of returning students if previously submitted paperwork is incomplete

All students must be registered in order to attend before and/or aftercare. For liability reasons, we are not able to accept any unregistered students, even in emergency situations. Unregistered students will not be amities into aftercare. Please note, students willingly be cleared to attend once all portions of the registrations are submitted in its entirety.

Payment Information

Invoices will be emailed to Monthly, Weekly and Daily participants on a recurring basis. Drop-In participants should paid by credit card online through the “Drop-In” page. Please makes checks payable to “UEC.”

Tuition is Due:

  • Monthly ~ 6pm on the first school day of the month

  • Weekly ~ 6pm on Monday of the service period

  • Daily ~ 6pm on the day of service

  • Drop-In Before Care ~  9pm the evening before the day of service

  • Drop-In After Care ~12pm the day of service

  • Payments that are not received by the due date/time are subject to a $10 late fee.

Credit Card Authorization

All participants MUST have a valid credit card on file

See below for when recurring payments will by processed

Payments Processed:

  • Monthly ~ The first day of the month

  • Weekly ~Monday of the service period

  • Daily ~ The day of service (if there are multiple days of care during the week the payment will be processed on the first day of care)

  • Drop-In ~payments that are not scheduled through the website will be processed at the end of the service period with a 10% convenience fee

If you declined to have your payment processed via credit card authorization, please make your payment by 6pm on the due date

  • Invoice processing fees

    • We process ~ 3.5% + .15

    • You process ~ 2.9% + .30

  • Late pick up, after 6pm ~ $1/minute for each child in family, due upon arrival

  • Late payments ~ $10/day late fee

  • Returned checks ~ $30 returned check fee

  • Past due balances ~ before/after care services will be suspended and must be settled in full before resuming care

Monthly and Weekly Schedule Changes

Please contact us if you’d like to change your child’s attendance schedule

  • Monthly and weekly changes will not be permitted November-March

  • Enrollment may be paused at any time, contact us to do so

    • Use the Drop-In option if before/after care services are needed during this time

August and June Payments

During August and June we will only offer weekly and daily payment options

  • Daily payments for August 28031 will be required prior to the September 1st payment

  • The monthly payment will begin on September 1st and end on May 1st


By enrolling in UEC Before and After Care Services you agree to all policies

Payment Policy

Tuition is due by 6pm on the due date.  All participants  must have a valid credit card on file. Credit cards will be processed via authorization form in the event your payment is delinquent. A payment becomes delinquent after 6pm on the due date.  Late Payments will incur a $10/day late fee. Authorized recurring payments will be processed on the day indicated above. Monthly payment options will begin on September 1st and end on May 1st.

Drop-In Payments must be completed through the website by the due date/time indicated above. UEC will charge a 10% convenience fee to process Drop-In payments that are delinquent.

Pick-Up Policy
After care closes at 6pm.  All children must be picked up by 6pm.  Please sign your child(ren) out daily on the attendance roster. Late pick-ups will incur a $1.00 per minute (per child in family) late fee, due immediately upon arrival. Excessive late pick-ups will result in your child being removed from the program.  If you are running late, please give us a courtesy call.
Visit out website and complete the schedule change form to add anyone who is picking your child up who is not already listed as an emergency contact on his/her registration form. You should also follow that up with an email.  Please be prepared to show ID when picking up until we are able to readily recognize you.

Illness Policy

If your child is experiencing any of the following symptoms you will be required to pick your child up promptly.

  • Fever of 100°F or higher
  • Diarrhea
  • Vomiting (2 or more times in 24 hours)
  • Excessive scratching of body or scalp or other spots that resemble ringworm
  • Runny nose (other than clear), draining of eyes or ears, including mucus in the eye that resembles pink eye.

Covid-19 Policy

United Educational Corp Programs (UEC) along with Maryland State Department of Education has developed health and safety protocols for childcare during the COVID-19 pandemic, based on the latest medical research, best practices, and input from the Baltimore City Health Department, our public health advisors, and other stakeholders. We are implementing the five key mitigation strategies recommended by the CDC for in-person learning including masking, social distancing, hand washing, cleaning and disinfecting, and contact tracing.

Inclement Weather Policy

UEC follows Baltimore City Public Schools for weather closings.

If school opens on a 2-hour delay, before care will open at 9:00am.

If school closes early, UEC will follow school guidance about remaining open for after care.

Be sure to check your email often during these events.

Cell phones and electric devices are not be permitted during before/after care. We will not be held responsible for lost or damaged devices.
